2 1/2 Day
Adult: $260 or with Full Immersion 2 for $495
ALL PADDLING GEAR PROVIDED

This class is offered at our
Portland and Bend locations.
An intensive course for those wanting to build a basic knowledge of paddling. Full Immersion Kayak 1 includes fast-paced modules covering basic safety, equipment and hydrology, accompanied by both pool and moving-water segments. Explore stroke technique, rolling and boat control skills. Full Immersion Kayak 1 culminates with a day-long river trip practicing your new-found skills on moving water.
Full Immersion Kayak 1 is scheduled monthly year round and most weekends during the summer. Call for details.

In the pool, You Will Need:
- Retention device for your glasses(i.e. Croakies, Chums, etc)
- Synthetic top (thermal underwear)
- Rain coat and rain pants
- Nylon shorts and/or swimsuit
- Towel and change of clothes for ride home
Optional Gear:
- Nose plugs
- Swim goggles
On the water, You Will Need:
- Tennis shoes or river sandals with wool socks or wetsuit booties
- Sunglasses with retention device (i.e. Croakies, Chums, etc)
- Sunscreen (SPF 30), lip balm (SPF 15)
- Sun hat, rain hat, and/or fleece hat
- Synthetic top and bottom (thermal underwear, heavier wt. for cooler weather)
- Rain coat and rain pants
- Nylon shorts and/or swimsuit
- Water bottle (1 quart)
- Towel and change of clothes for ride home
- Lunch and snacks
Optional Gear:
- Camera with film, batteries and dry storage
Meeting Place/Directions:
Full Immersion Classes are held in Portland and Bend. You will receive detailed instructions and a map with your confirmation packet.
