ALL PADDLING GEAR PROVIDED
FOUNDATION LEVEL: Introductory experience required
This class is offered in the Portland area.
For the
Paddler who wants to prevent the
unexpected turnover. Learn wet
exits, Edging, and recovery strokes
(bracing) in the comfort of a heated pool.
Classes are taught every other week in the winter and by request in the summer.

Basics of bracing
In the pool, You Will Need:
- Retention device for your glasses(i.e. Croakies, Chums, etc)
- Synthetic top (thermal underwear)
- Rain coat and rain pants
- Nylon shorts and/or swimsuit
- Towel and change of clothes for ride home
Optional Gear:
- Nose plugs
- Swim goggles
Meeting Place/Directions:
This class meets at the North Clackamas Aquatic Center. You will receive detailed instructions and a map with your confirmation packet.

Please remember to keep your personal gear to a minimum, but keep your comfort in mind. Remember the goal is to travel light and efficiently.
